Tomorrow Is Almost Upon Us
So here is the deal, I just put down a $100 deposit at Hollywood Billiards to ensure that we had some tables (3) and certainly a dedicated area for us all to congregate. This reservation begins at 8pm. If you don’t recognize anyone immediately, in theory you can ask them where the Tumblr Meet-Up is, and they’ll point you to us. But c’mon… we won’t be hard to spot… we’ll be the awesome, good looking, fun-having group!
Please bring some cash ($5 or $10) to help cover the cost. The final cost will depend on how long we stay. It’s a Friday night so the cost for the tables are $15/hr (so $45 since we have three). Even if you won’t play pool, please chip in if you can, since the reservation was less about playing pool, and more about securing space for the 30 or 40 of you who seem to be coming. I even reserved tables nearest to the restrooms because I am thoughtful like that.
As for alcohol and food, I suggest we keep that simple and everyone pays for themselves. Of course pitchers of beer are always cheaper, so some people may decide to go in on those, but it will not be a group thing.
If there ends up being a surplus of money, as I know you are all generous awesome people, we will either save it for the next one, or donate it to a good cause.

Oh and on a sad note, I never heard back from Tumblr about my request for stickers, so I am guessing they failed us. But it’s all good, we still love them and will get some for the next one!
